Livistona Rotundifolia 'Fan Palm'

If you're loking for a tropical addition to your plant collection, then this is the one for you! Also known as the Fan Palm or Footstool Palm, the Livistona is well known for its air-purifying abilities. Native to Southeast Asia, this palm is easy to care for and can grow up to 2 metres tall (but don't worry, it's a slow growing plant so it'll take a while!). 
 
Likes bright indirect light, and some partial shade. Direct sun may scorch the leaves
Keep the soil moist by watering little and often
Make sure it has proper drainage so water doesn't gather at the bottom of the pot - this can damage the roots
Likes high humidity and a warm spot away from draughts
Pet friendly - not toxic if ingested but the stems have little spines on them that might not be good for little paws and hands!
