The asparagus fern is actually a member of the Liliaceae family. The key to keep it happy and lush-looking is higher humidity - they can't get enough so regular misting is required, or finding it a spot in a steamy bathroom. Because of the way they spread out as they grow, they would also look great as a hanging plant!
